I am in receipt of your letter of Nov. 26/04.
Over the past couple of years you have referred to negotiations as being unproductive, no progress etc. If you were to check your records you will find my contributions to resolving issues. I have explained in detail my position and have backed it up with full explanations. Contrary to this position, I do not have any letters that in any way show that Murphy has done anything that shows any attempt to try to resolve my concerns. If I am in error please send me copies of letters that would indicate what you have proposed, offered, suggested etc. that reflect any of my concerns.
In Jan./02, I had a meeting with ******, at which time we resolved some of the issues relating to Murphy’s predecessor Beau Canada.
Since then I have had a meeting with ****** (June/03) whose only purpose was to be a sounding board. He in no way made any attempt at resolution. I had a meeting with ****** (August/03) whose purpose was to imply to me that I was an extortionist, that I was not getting a thin dime and that I can "Go to Hell". There was again no attempt at resolution. I have had a few meetings with ****** under the pretense of negotiation, but no negotiations have ever taken place. ****** comes, writes down some of my concerns, tells me he will take it back to the office for review and get back to me. ****** has never made any attempt at any of our meetings to try to resolve outstanding issues and he also never sent me a letter of reply.
The last meeting with ****** was decided by you and I as a means of negotiations about the existing well site and reclamation etc. *******immediately started off completely off topic about the well on SE 20, and from there on never showed any interest in resolution of outstanding issues on SW21.
****** offered to pay (on the spot) for pipeline crop loss for 2004 but said he didn’t have his "book" with him. That was Oct. 13/04 and keeping true to form I haven’t heard a word about it since.
You yourself refuse to negotiate and when you add it all up its no wonder there is no progress in resolution, there is no one at Murphy trying to resolve any of our differences.
For you to proceed with "legal forced entry" does not in any way add any positive input into the resolutions of our differences.
It is very apparent to me that Murphy has never had any intention of resolving any of my concerns. As landowners we should in no way have to accept your deceptions and total disregard for personal property including trespassing onto personal property to use as your crapper.
Please consider my letter of Nov.3/04 as a small start to a large campaign of public awareness.
Since the last meeting with ****** there have been new issues raised in relation to Murphy’s well on SE 20. ****** offered to make compensation but as of yet there has been no resolution.
