Re: your letter of
Your letter states in part as follows: The ERCB notes that your withdrawal of objection is based on Quatro
ceasing all operations at its well site located at LSD 7-20-42-3 W5M (7-20
Site) until all outstanding issues at LSD 6-21-42-3W5M have been resolved.
The above statement is true and I stand behind it, that
being said I want you, ERCB, to understand the following: The complete truth is
that in a letter from Quatro dated May 27, 2008, Quatro said in part as follows: we are unfortunately not prepared to postpone our pipeline and
completion operations any longer. I have no indication that Quatro’s May 27th letter was copied to the ERCB.
Therefore my objection still stands.
I was sincerely hoping for better from Quatro Resources.
Your letter states in part as follows: The Board further notes that Quatro has
confirmed via letter dated
The above statement may be true but deceiving. That being
said I want you, ERCB, to understand the following: The complete truth is that
1-2 working days later (May 27, 2008) Quatro’s letter
to me stated as noted above and reiterated as follows: : we are unfortunately not prepared to postpone our pipeline and
completion operations any longer. Therefore the above statement that Quatro has
suspended all operations at the 7-20 site is
deceiving and no longer valid.

Re: my letter of removal of my objection dated
Please note: it appears to me that once Quatro got the pipeline objection monkey off their back (Friday, May 23, 2008), so they may have thought, they did not waste any time telling me (Tuesday, May 27, 2008) they are not prepared to postpone pipeline operations any longer, which is contrary to my objection removal letter that states in part as follows: However, I hold to my request that Quatro show good faith in negotiations by ceasing all operations at the 7-20-42-3W5 site until all outstanding issues on 6-21-42-3W5 have been resolved. Quatro has not honoured this request.
I gave Quatro Resources the opportunity for a comprehensive, no-hassle, fair, workable resolution to our outstanding issues. Quatro has an excellent opportunity for a complete resolution of outstanding issues on 6-21-42-3W5. If Quatro was serious about resolution of outstanding issues on 6-21-42-3W5, this could be done before proceeding with pipeline construction on 7-20-42-3W5 to 3-20-42-3W5.

Re: your e-mail of
I request
confirmation that these are your letters as a matter of
normal course in auditing the items submitted by any applicant. I have
dealt with the ERCB/EUB for many years now and have never experienced what you
call “normal course of auditing”. If this statement is true, then I believe
your auditing system is biased. You question the information I sent to Quatro but you blindly accept
information from Quatro without confirmation from me. I have experienced how the oil/gas industry can be deceiving and not telling the truth to the ERCB. Quatro’s letter of May 23rd. is deceiving, yet you accept it as gospel truth without question or confirmation from me.

Your ERCB system allows the oil/gas industry the opportunity
to feed the ERCB what ever non-truths, deceptions and even downright lies they
chose without confirmation of the truth from the landowners. The ERCB then uses
this information, at times deceptive and even erroneous, to make decisions that
affect the lives and lifestyles of the affected landowners.
Let’s get some honesty, integrity and fairness back in the system. The landowners have been exploited by the ERCB/EUB and the oil/gas industry far too long already.
Please note that this letter and all or any other correspondence between the ERCB, Quatro Resources and I may be posted on the WWW (Internet) at my discretion.
