Re: Your letter of August 16, 2007

Re: Tournament Exploration Ltd. Well Application.

Contrary to your perception, I was never given a reasonable opportunity to participate in the process by which the well license was originally issued. Contrary to your belief, there is a need for further investigation into the Board’s handling of these matters. I suggest that you read and understand all the letters I have sent to the EUB re: Tournament application 1493319 and all other related applications and license. Don’t just pick out a selected few.

You refer to the Board’s letter of June 12, 2007 which gives reference to 6 letters sent to the EUB, as the Board’s consideration of my request for a review hearing. You neglected to note that this is less than half the letters I sent to the EUB in reference to Tournament Exploration’s well application 1493319 and associated application 1506127.

For the most part, information and concerns I have addressed to the EUB have gone unanswered.  To add to the ludicrousness of your letter, it is noted that my letter to *************** dated March 12, 2007 is nothing more than a reminder of a letter I sent to ********** dated February 16, 2007 that he had neglected to answer. To ignore most of my letters and use such a letter as consideration of my request for a review hearing and suspension of a license for Tournament Exploration, is nothing short of extreme incompetence on behalf of the Energy and Utilities Board of Alberta.

You state in your letter that you support the advice given to me in an EUB letter of July 26, 2007 from ***********.

(2)

*********** letter of July 26, 2007 states in part “You should have a qualified expert review the Board’s handling  of these proceedings and give advice on how you should proceed…………….”

You, sir, also state in part “you can of course seek advice as to whether there are grounds for some appeal beyond the Board.”

***** suggests “have a qualified expert. You suggest “seek advice”.

You know full well that I as a layman cannot financially hire legal counsel to challenge the EUB and the Government of Alberta. To this end you are exploiting me and hundreds, if not thousands, of Albertans.

There is no question in my mind that the EUB has grossly erred in the granting of a license to Tournament Exploration, license number being 0374332.

I am therefore requesting that Tournament license 0374332 be rescinded and I be given intervener status at a public hearing and that I be given access to legal counsel of my choice paid for by the EUB, in relation directly or indirectly to Tournament Exploration application number1493319 and related applications and license.

After 14 workings days from the date of this letter I shall at my discretion post any/all of my correspondence to and from the EUB and me on the www (internet) and any/all Government agencies, landowner groups and media sources as I deem appropriate.

The incompetence of EUB has gone too far.
