Berkana Energy
Berkana Energy Corp. began active operations in
December, 2006 as a result of the business
combination between Rosetta Exploration Inc. and a wholly
owned subsidiary of Murphy Oil
Company, whereby Rosetta issued common shares to
Murphy in exchange for all of the issued and
outstanding common shares of the subsidiary company.
That subsidiary held all of Murphy's lands,
production and related infrastructure located in the
Rimbey area of central
transaction, Rosetta changed its name to Berkana
Energy Corp
